I have never borrowed money and have a steady income. they are unable to tell me why i was declined. ive spnt ages on the phone with them, getting no where. they are absolutely hopele ss, and after this experience i will never go with GE money. ever. I have my whole life ahead of me, cars and houses to be bought, but never with this company Now i have this history on my file forever, and there is no reason why i shouldnt be granted a credit card. Interest is off the roof and your minimum payment will get you nowhere. Staff is horrendous and customer service is ruthless. Not a single blood of sympathy to help you regardless of their low limit of hardship access . I regret joining this company for their card (as it was for travel purposes). Online application is somewhat painless and the card arrived around a week later. And then you have to deal with their IVR phone system and painfully robotic staff. Horrible! When I followed up on the whereabouts of the secondary cardholder's card I was informed that "many of our customers have problem with the online system..fastest way is to apply again". Now my perfect credit rating has been tarnished by this declined application so I now have to declare it on any future applications.
