墨尔本机场又一次提高了所附停车场的停车费用，旅客和他们的家人与朋友又要破财了。
周三，每天几乎能收取停车费高达34万5千元的墨尔本机场悄悄对停车费开始提价，幅度高达67%。
最受影响的是短时停车的司机。停车15至30分钟之间的费用从6元涨至10元。
而停车1至2小时的费用也从24元涨至29元。
不过也有部分降价，如：停车不足15分钟的费用就从6元降至5元。
4到6小时的停车费用降价8元至49元，而长时间停车场的1天停车费降价14元，为25元。

Short-term solution lifts Melbourne Airport parking by 67%
Parking prices at Melbourne Airport have been lifted again in another hit to the hip pocket of travellers, and their family and friends.
The airport, which collects almost $345,000 each day from parking charges, quietly increased prices by as much as 67 per cent on Wednesday.
The biggest relative hit is to drivers using short-term parking. The cost of parking for between 15 and 30 minutes at the airport has increased from $6 to $10.
It now costs $29 to park at the terminal for between one and two hours - up from $24.

However, the airport has rewarded people parking for less than 15 minutes. The price for 15-minute parking has dropped $1, to $5.
It is $8 cheaper to stay for four to six hours, down to $49. And the cost for one-day parking in the long-term car park has been reduced $14 to $25.
But long-term parking prices have also increased. It now costs $159 - up $16 - to park for five days at a terminal car park.
Consumer advocate Christopher Zinn said there was not much the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, which monitors airport car parking, could do.
"Parking prices are monitored by the ACCC, but the ability to really keep a lid on them is limited," he told radio station 3AW.
"Essentially, where you have an airport such as Melbourne without a railway link they effectively have you over a barrel and they can charge significant amounts and increase them."
Melbourne Airport raked in $125.9 million from car park users in 2013-14, according to the ACCC.
It earned $5158 per car park each year, although that was a decrease of 6.6 per cent compared with the previous financial year.
Overall, the airport's car-parking profit shrunk 1.4 per cent in real terms.
Most (81.6 per cent) of the car parking at Melbourne Airport is short-term. The new Terminal Four car park will expand the airport's capacity to 25,500 spaces.
Melbourne Airport spokeswoman Anna Gillett said significant discounts were available online.
"Booking online will retain its great value for customers - the earlier people book, the better the deal," she said.
"Also, the Ring & Ride facility is free for up to 20 minutes for people waiting to pick-up family and friends. For 40 and 60 minutes, the rate is $2 and $4 respectively."
Ms Gillett said the new T4 car park would help manage increased demand. She also said "bay-finding technology", better lighting and signage, and more frequent shuttle buses to and from the long-term car park would help travellers.
